About
BukharaConnect
From the Silk Road to New York.
Different cities. Same roots. A stronger tomorrow.
BukharaConnect is a community platform and local marketplace for people with roots in Bukhara, Samarkand, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and the broader Central Asian and Russian-speaking diaspora.
We are starting in Queens and building outward. The goal is practical connection: useful local businesses, community events, stories, recommendations, gifts and—later—carefully managed auctions.
Open to everyone
Community, not a religious membership site
BukharaConnect is not limited to one religion, neighborhood or city. Culture and heritage are part of the identity, but the platform is meant to connect the wider community.
Directory standards
Listings do not imply endorsement
Some recognizable businesses are included as useful directory references. A listing does not mean the business sponsors, endorses or partners with BukharaConnect. Paid placements are labeled separately.
Contact & Help
How can we help?
Send a message directly to the BukharaConnect owner inbox.
Please do not send passwords, Social Security numbers, bank details or other highly sensitive information.
Trust & Safety
Policies & Guidelines
Plain-language rules for using BukharaConnect.
Privacy
BukharaConnect collects information you choose to provide, such as account details, community posts, business submissions, contact messages and gift-order information. Public profile or listing information may be visible to other users. Private contact and order details are restricted to the site owner/admin workflow.
We use this information to operate the platform, review submissions, fulfill requests and improve the service. We do not sell user data to advertisers. Do not submit sensitive financial, government-ID or password information through community or contact forms.
Terms of use
Use BukharaConnect lawfully and in good faith. Do not impersonate others, submit fraudulent listings, interfere with the service, scrape private information, post illegal content or use the platform to harass, threaten or deceive people.
Directory information can change, so users should independently verify important details such as hours, licensing, prices and availability before relying on a listing. BukharaConnect may edit, hide or remove content that is inaccurate, unsafe, unlawful or inconsistent with these rules.
Community guidelines
Keep discussions useful and respectful. No hate or targeted harassment, threats, doxxing, scams, spam, sexually exploitative content, dangerous instructions, or posting another person’s private information without permission. Disagreements are allowed; personal attacks and intimidation are not.
Posts and replies may be moderated before publication. Members can report content for review.
Business & advertising standards
Business owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listing, pricing, claims and contact information. Paid visibility does not buy a positive review or organic recommendation. Sponsored or enhanced placement should be labeled as such.
These are practical launch policies for the current version and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified attorney. Before a full commercial launch, the final legal terms should be reviewed for the business structure, payments, taxes, shipping and auction activity actually offered.
